Winged animals of Olshanitsky quarry / Крылатые животные Ольшаницкого карьера

We want to estimate biodiversity on the territory of the quarry and adjacent territories, on basis of the studying of species diversity of indicator groups of animals: birds and three groups of insects (dragonflies, butterflies, and Aculeate Hymenoptera). Special attention will be given to the collection of the information on the presence of rare (with conservation status) species of animals on the territory of the quarry and adjacent territories.

According to the results of our project we will be able to give a preliminary assessment of species diversity of the groups of animals under research, the ecosystem condition of the quarry and its surroundings. It will contribute to the further protection and maintenance of biological diversity on this territory. In addition, it is proposed to prepare and publish an atlas "Animality of the Olshanitski granite quarry". As a basis of which will be taken our researches on the biodiversity on the studying territory.

Основная цель проекта оценить биоразнообразие на территории карьера и прилегающих территориях, на основе изучения видового разнообразия индикаторных групп животных: птиц и трех групп насекомых (стрекозы, дневные бабочки и жалоносные перепончатокрылые). Особое внимание будет уделяться сбору информации о наличие редких (имеющих природоохранный статус) видов животных на территории карьера и сопредельных территориях.

По результатам проекта можно будет дать предварительную оценку видового разнообразия исследуемых групп животных, состояния экосистемы карьера и его окрестностей и это поспособствует дальнейшей защите и поддержанию биологического разнообразия на этой территории. Так же, запланирована подготовка к печати атласа «Животный мир Ольшаницкого гранитного карьера».
