Основна мета нашого проекту - вивчення можливостей використання штучних гнізд, як рефугіумів для відновлення та підтримання популяцій комах в Ольшаницькому кар’єрі, знайомство населення з цікавим світом тварин діючого кар’єру. Крім того, ми сподіваємся, що у подальшому, після завершення розробки кар’єру, результати нашого проекту допоможуть суттєво прискорити відновлення даної екосистеми. На основі отриманих даних будуть розроблені рекомендації щодо використання цих споруд як можливих рефугіумів в подібних екосистемах, та визначення найбільш сприятливих місць для їх розміщення.

The main objective of our project is to study the possibilities of using artificial nests as refugiums for the restoration and maintenance of insect populations in the Olshanitsky quarry, and for the acquaintance of the local people with an interesting world of animals in an active quarry. In addition, we hope that in the future, after the development completion of the quarry, the results of our project will help to accelerate the restoration of this ecosystem significantly. Based on the obtained data, recommendations for the use of these structures as possible refugiums in similar ecosystems and the identification of the most favorable locations for their placement will be developed.
